On 20 November 2025, the CollabFund Networking Forum brought together the seven selected CollabFund project teams for a structured programme of presentations, discussions and networking opportunities. The forum aimed to provide visibility for the funded projects and enable focused interaction between the project teams and a transcontinental professional audience.
How can three months reshape the way we see knowledge, community, and our role within them? And perhaps the biggest question of all: how can one experience turn a place into a source of purpose, inspiration, and belonging?

TheMuseumsLab 2025: A Reflection by Co-Curator Abel Assefa
The 2025 programme brought together fellows, experts, institutions from Africa and Europe. Co-curator Abel Assefa reflects on the programme’s highlights, with a special focus on Module 3 in Addis Ababa, where participants visited museums, archives, art spaces, and historic sites, engaging in dialogue on heritage, leadership, and collaboration.
